Description
The Whistler brand was created by the Boann distillery in 2016 and is bottled using whiskies sourced from other Irish distilleries. The range includes both Irish Whiskey and single malt products. Boann distillery was formed by Patrick and Marie Cooney along with other family members in 2015. It is a registered trademark of Na Cuana, a family-owned Irish company that specialises in craft beverages. The first spirit produced at the distillery was laid down in December 2019, the first whiskey produced in the Drogheda region over 160 years.
This Irish single malt was aged in bourbon barrels before finishing in ex-Pedro Ximemex sherry casks.
A triple-distilled single malt, this was likely produced at Bushmills.
