Aromatic and refreshing, Mermaid Pink Gin infuses the flavour of fresh Island strawberries with the smooth yet complex taste of our award-winning Mermaid London Dry Gin, a blend of lemon zest, grains of paradise and fragrant rock samphire. Perfectly balanced, subtle yet vibrant, less sweet than most pink gins with no added sugar. It?s made exclusively at our Isle of Wight distillery with locally sourced ingredients. Fresh Island strawberries, grown in the rich and fertile microclimate of the Arreton valley, are steeped in our signature smooth gin for four days, before being re-distilled to create Mermaid Pink Gin, with its intensely aromatic, fresh flavour. Infusing fresh sun-kissed strawberries with our smooth yet complex gin creates a refreshingly layered serve, with a hint of sea air from fragrant rock samphire. Serve as a refreshing G&T over ice, with a splash of tonic and a slice of grapefruit, or with ros? wine, grapefruit syrup and tonic for a zesty and memorable spritzer ? ideal for drinking in summer or all year round. Our award-winning gins take their name from the lead botanical, rock samphire – known locally as ?mermaid?s kiss?. This aromatic succulent clings to the cliffs surrounding the Island and marks the high tide line on its majestic beaches. Like the kiss of the mythical mermaid, saving sailors lost at sea, the rock samphire was a signal that shipwrecked sailors and smugglers were safe from the raging seas. Mermaid Pink Gin is presented plastic-free, as credited by A Plastic Planet and features a compostable tamper-proof seal, biodegradable labels and natural cork stopper. By presenting our gin in a plastic-free package and supporting marine conservation projects, we aim to preserve the environment of mermaids.
