Description
Bumbu is made at a historic Barbadian distillery founded in 1893 and continuously operated for more than 120 years. The rum is distilled using two continuous stills and aged up to 15 years in grade-A, once-used Kentucky bourbon barrels. The yeast used during fermentation is the distillery’s own and is a carefully kept secret. At Bumbu Rum Company, all the rums are handcrafted from a blend of sugarcane carefully selected from eight countries throughout the West Indies and South America.
